Ive been using Dura-Coat in Combat Black. I did a top cover and a grip frame for a model B and I cannot tell the difference. It is a perfect match. Very happy with the results.

Looks like a Norinco box to me. I think that little IMI card is hiding the spot where the thumb hole stock was cut off. The foam has the shape of a thumbhole. Just my guess.

if you're cheap, it seems the easiest way to aquire one is to buy one. From what I've read and seen there's a lot of machining to do to that bolt. If you don't have the right equipment available you may as well forget it. Also, It's not legal to leave the lower lip on bolt face. Wish I could...

I personally think it's ugly. I hope they don't stray to much from the original design on future models if/when they bring them out. Polymer frames are all the rage, just keep them away from the mini & full size carbines.
