FNC sells for $14,555 0n GunBroker

Realize this is blasphemy but OK, went to link - NFA. No wonder. In my way-back machine I had an FNC side-folder for $600.00; really kewl looking but compared to my $600.00 Colt AR SP1 - a too-heavy-for-what-it-was 5.56 war-club. Rather than piss around trying to get the NFA conversion and...

    Oly arms closes for good.

Hoping they re-lo. Been hearing nothing but bad shiite about the numbnutz that run WA state, particularly San Fran, err - Seattle. Anyway, glad they are alive - NO ONE gives them props for having stayed the course as the oldest continuous AR mfg on the planet, even when Colt stopped making ARs...

    Guns of Dagenham Question

As of this posting, there is a Lanchester-import Dagenham S/N SA 0490 on GB - no scope rail studs, yet my Cassi SA 0022 has studs - so maybe there is merit to the "S/N reset" idea. I also recall the Dagenham guns in the 80's - rarely seen, rarer than may imported black rifles like VALMETs and...

    Guns of Dagenham Question

Same here, except only seen one - period, end of argument - in person between like 89 and late 90's, when I bought my Cassi import marked SA0022. Funny that I carried that from funshow to funshow and no serious buyers, so I gave up and will just keep it. Especially after discovering there will...

NIB M11A1 about to relinquish its NIB status

Exactly how my 80's vintage buffer looked like - dried MRE cheese.

    Mac 10 used is stripes

The original Killer Elite has a MACUzi in Bo Hopkins hands on the sailboat near the end; front Uzi recvr extension is upside down in one scene, correct in the next. Hollyweird. Let's make millions off of violence, then call for an end to the 2A...

I need help making an sbr mac 11

You're not wrong, but... Any level of .gov can/does/will say anything they want on a Monday and deny it all or change their minds on a Tuesday. Happens daily, especially in the NFA world. I would trust knowledgable pros in the business on a regular basis any day over a field officer of any .gov...

    Original blued mac-10

YOWZA! What a tiny world! LEO - that's where I got my NIB, unfired MAC-10/45 from back in early 1977. Can't recall exactly how much I paid, 99.999% sure it was less than the NFA stamp... I glommed onto the LEO folks as a dirt-poor, young, USAF E4 that just PCS'd to Eglin AFB, FL from a remote...

    M9/11 vs M10/45 - New buyer

OK; who sells dead-on working .45-9mm mag-well inserts, matching 9mm mags, and, a 9mm bolt correct for the mags? Every time I've posted that question here, I've gotten different answers as to parts combos to have to find. Seems Lage is the best way to go for a one-stop-shop dependability.

    M9/11 vs M10/45 - New buyer

Been on and off the Lage list for his 9mm upper with unemployment swings, someday for sure. Meanwhile, haven't found a 100% complete drop-in for dummies 9mm MAC10 "kit"; everything one needs in a single box.

    M9/11 vs M10/45 - New buyer

When I was younger and more stoopid, I snagged an M10/45 as I didn't want to wait on a 9mm SMG (dealer didn't have any 9's of any kind.) and have been regretting settling for the seriously more expensive to shoot .45ACP ever since. Get the 9mm.

Any tips/tricks to disassembly of Mk6 trigger group?

Thanks for the replies! Need to get to this task before the weather breaks again... BTW; of the two main versions of trigger groups - 1982, 1986 - is one better than the other? I need to find out which version mine has... Thanks!

Thanks! Just was wondering if there were any true pitfalls I might run into.

Any tips/tricks to disassembly of Mk6 trigger group?

Read the manual/pdf - looks straight forward enough but just wanted to check. Reason I ask is that I was at the range the other day and the trigger felt gritty, best I could do was a fast double-tap, just couldn't get a fast triple-tap.

    STEN 22 builds in future?

Yes, but will it just be for Sterling SMGs? Or all Sterlings? I'd have to think it would sell great if it were for all Sterlings, I know I'd buy at least one.

    WASR 10/63 History?

No. WASRs are purpose-built IN Romania by Romanians in one of their Cugir-owned arsenals - Ratmil?? - with new CHF chrome-lined barrels and Romy AKM parts-bin parts as low-cap/single-stack guns or bare barreled Romy-made stamped recvrs. They are foreign-made AKM knockoffs. Once imported to...

    Donkey D***s

A Draco will accept any pistol grips or forend furniture that any stamped AKM could. The issue is the vertical foregrip - VFG - of a donkey dong makes a pistol an NFA item as an "AOW". (Only a very few, pre-Klinton pistols have legal VFGs - old AutoOrd 1927A5 "pistols" for example.) But...

Think they have buyers remorse yet??

I used to have a real dim view of gunners gouging fellow gunners, I know I haven't sold squat to anyone at any price since Nobama has been elected. But the more I thought about it, the more I came to peace knowing that real pro-2A gunners already had what they wanted. The idjits that were...

Which AK to sell and why

Agree. Sell the PolyTech to a collector with more money than they need and use the cash for some things you want/need. I've had/sold so many Norcs and PolyTechs that I lost count. Never married to any of them, happily used the profits on other toys. That plus I just can't hang with an AK...
