My SWD m11/9mm its a c clip. do you mean the retainer that holds the strap hanger on?its just a "c" clip that snaps in the same groove on the barrel as the hanger(which the strap goes). just spread the "c" clip apart where the 2 holes are and it should slide off,without removing the barrel.

are all the mags interchangable? the reason I ask is my texas mac wouldnt feed cheap and readily available mags, I had to use special warther(cant spell it) made mags..anything else and it wouldnt feed or would fit.
