    Practical solutions flip grip?

Two issues: 1. Your mpa30 would need to be registered as an AOW in order to install a front grip. 2. PS is "closed until further notice" Joe

    Carl Gustav M45 range report

Love my K. Mine was reworked by J. Andrewski a few years ago, and he luckily lives just a short drive away. Great guy and he does great work. Joe

Swedish K failure to feed – Appreciate help from a RKI

Bob's response is spot on for some of the Wilson tube guns: incorrect alignment between lower and tube. If it turns out you've got a problem with your build, I strongly recommend John Andrewski as the guy to set it straight. I sent my beat-up looking Wilson tube gun to John and he turned it...

WTK: best Swedish K parts kits ...

Note that the S&W 76 was largely copied from the earlier Swedish K design. The S&W 76, while a nice weapon, is generally considered to be inferior to the K (trigger feel, stock feel and lockup, ability to take drum mags, etc.). My sense is the popularity of the K is due to its performance, not...

I also have the old C&S one and I love it. No reason to use any other upper for me. Joe

Swedish K - prices and support

There was an article a few years ago in SAR about a real C&R Swedish K that was brought back from Vietnam and registered in the '68 amnesty. I suspect that a C&R example would sell for at least $20K, perhaps much more. That said, there aren't many Swedish K tube guns. I've heard 200 wilson...

Swedish K - prices and support

My sense is $8500 is a fair price right now for a Swedish K tube gun in excellent condition. Mags are readily available - suomi 36rd stick mags are around $8 or so and suomi 72rd drums can be had for $30. Parts kits are out there for around $300 or so. I bought one a few years back and sent...

Contacting RPB? Looking for new mac10/9 bolt...

I'd like to pick up one of RPB's mac10/9 bolts with the newer style extractor. Calls to RPB at 404-326-6798 over the past few days find no one answering and a full voice-mailbox. Any ideas? Thanks, Joe

    New/Old Swedish Ks

I think my experience is typical. The Swedish K's were designed to take the 36rd sticks and 50rd coffin magazines, the coffin magazines require the removable magazine well on the K. In order to get drums to fit a K, some of the receiver tube needs to be removed until the drums latch into...

    New/Old Swedish Ks

I don't recall the specific issues John mentioned about select-fire k's. I'm sure he'd be willing to chat about it if you gave him a call. Joe

    New/Old Swedish Ks

Those look very nice. John Andrewski resurrected my wilson tube k (gratuitous picture below). He warned me that he'd had bad luck with the select fire mechanisms, so it'll be interesting to see what you think. Joe

Information on Wilson built Swedish K's

Only a few builders made swedish K tubes, and I believe Wilson was the most prolific with around 200. These registered tubes were built into complete guns by a range of folks, including Stan Andrewski and others. If the price is right, go for it. These are great guns and there aren't a lot of...

    KNS M11/M10 Take Down Pin

Yes, the pin goes all the way thru and the detents protrude on the other side. I added one of these to my Mac10/9 about a month ago and I've been very happy with it. Very quick and easy to insert and remove, and not much chance that it will remove itself unexpectedly. Joe

Looks like there will be fewer Macs in the registry

I recall a couple of years ago seeing a "for sale" ad on subguns where a dealer selling a 1919 stated in the ad that the model on the form 4 was listed as "M10". Caveat emptor. Joe

My DLO Tube went pending today....

There's some very interesting info in this thread. However, if I owned one of these narrow cocking slot DLO tubes I might be a bit concerned about this being posted in a public forum. Kind of like doing a FOIA request on a machinegun and finding out things you didn't want to know. Joe
