Could he use the original barrel if he did a pistol build? Also, does he have to used a supported (ringed) feed ramp and matching cut barrel?

The radius of the barrel support area is less on the micro/pistol than the full size smg. Not sure if the micro/pistol is the same as the semi full size. I will have to look.

This and the barrel lengths, most countries don't seem to care about that either. May be harder to get a gun, but not as many restrictions once you get it.
