You can run a .380 barrel on a M11/9 to shoot 380. Not too May people are interested in that because 380 costs more, but I’ve done it. It works well.

I don’t have the drum on it now, but don’t forget Suomi. And the tube in front was copied from a 1919. The member who did one similar to this years ago used a 1919 barrel sleeve, or front thing that folds up…, what ever you call it.

My latest Franken-gun. I call it the Mutt. I copied the front end from another member here. Had to get a larger aluminum tube to fit the Bowers suppressor.

You could probably clip two to three coils off your recoil spring but I would try different ammo first. Adding a suppressor might help too.

I made this video years ago: This is a 380 barrel on a M11/9. I found it works best with hotter ammo and a suppressor. At the time I did this, my work just stopped using 380 as a secondary weapon and had thousands of rounds to use. I’ve since used it all up so I don’t shoot it much anymore.

Cav Arms made their lowers wider in the front to accept grease gun mags. Lage could probably do that. The cost of that upper plus having to modify it would make it not worth the trouble to me though.
