    Tenko Preorder Discount

I wish Scott luck and hope this still comes to fruition. I’ll be waiting for the M11/9 version. I’m grateful for people like Scott that have taken risks and/or made personal sacrifices for the MAC family and have made it the platform that it is today. It’s always exciting to see the new...

50 Round Shockwave - weak springs for the ROF?

I’ve never had problems with Z mags, 30 or 50 rounders after “tuning” them. I followed the video below. Like it was mentioned above. get a magazine brush and clean the inside every so often and spray the inside with Blaster Dry Lube.

You would think that expensive .22 ammo wouldn’t be necessary for a semi-auto. I try to use round nose ammo in mine. I remember Val told me to stick with Federal, Aguila, and CCI. Were you winding 2.5 turns plus 1 for each layer? I just bought a new barrel and had issues the first time I tried...

Man…sorry to hear that! I wonder if something is going on with your feed block. I know Val was using federal lightnings when he tested. I tried some federal bulk 40gr solid round nose that seemed to have specs that were pretty close to the lightnings. Are you running a 165rd drum or the bigger ones?

Good point! Forgot the Tenko had a magwell.

Don’t those uppers eject through the ar15 magwell? I wonder if it would work with the Tenko? Where would the brass go?

It might be worth trying the aluminum bottom plate. I noticed that the lexan bottom plates flex a little and seemed to bind up the drum a little depending how they fit. The aluminum bottom plates were the key to mine running reliably. I mainly run Blazer. I’ve also been running some federal bulk...

I don’t think these are AM15 uppers. It looks like 2 AM180 receivers attached together. I can even see the dimple on the front of the barrel for the AM180 front sight.

The lexan mags work well. I like them better than the metal ones because they’re lighter and you can see how many rounds you have left. My gun likes the lexans with the aluminum bottom plates.

My full auto runs at 99%. Have you sent yours to Val at E and L?

Hallelujah! I think I’d better buy a few more AM180 drums soon!

So you’re working on a M11/180 upper? Meaning a M11 upper that takes the AM180 drums?

Tenko 10-16 Adapter For Use With .22lr

I sure hope the Tenko comes to fruition, especially after all of the time and money A&S has spent on it. I remember when the Tenko concept info was first released, I said I would pass on it because I didn’t like the way it canted the Mac receiver down. At the time I said I preferred the Lage Max...

If I had to put a refundable deposit down for a couple, I’d get in line for them! Much cheaper than a AM180! I enjoy shooting my AM180 more than my M11/9 with various Lage uppers. Sometimes I don’t even take the M11 to the range.

I’m thinking that the only possible way to use that upper would be with the Tenko adapter since it’s like a AR upper. It looks like it uses Colt open bolt parts. Not sure how the Tenko works, or if it’s possible to adapt to the Tenko. A and S want to chime in with their opinion?

Good ole Val! I’ve talked to him quite a bit, but unfortunately live a little over 3hrs away.

I agree. That’s why I sold my Lage kit. 40 rounds weren’t enough. Luckily, I was able to get my hands on a AM180. I would love to have a AM180 upper for my M11/9 though. Unfortunately for the MAC type guns, it seems like the magazine through the grip might be the only possible way to get a 22...

Try the Lula. It gets pretty stiff towards the end, even when using the Lula.
