Practical Solutions' M10/.22 (2nd Edition) Conversion Kit Update

I'm still waiting on mine, but does anyone know if the Lightnin Grip loaders with any of their available adapters happen to work with these mags? I'd like to order one ahead of time to make reloading a bit easier when mine finally gets in.

Practical Solutions' M10/.22 (2nd Edition) Conversion Kit Update

While you and Donut are probably right, I hope you're wrong. I have issues being patient as well lol. My first kid is coming in January and I'm still holding out hope that I'm able to get the conversion before then. Dropping thousands right after the baby gets here will definitely get me some...

Practical Solutions' M10/.22 (2nd Edition) Conversion Kit Update

I know you said in a previous post that after the first 5 are sold, you'll be doing batches of 5-10. I'm number 118 on the list with a powder springs .45. Is there a guesstimate on when I would be able to purchase mine based on your manufacturing speed?

Practical Solutions' M10/.22 (2nd Edition) Conversion Kit Update

Will this kit have a picitanny rail for optics since it's side charging? Also, are any of the front grip adapters you sell compatible? I'm buying either way, so I'm just curious.

Practical Solutions' M10/.22 (2nd Edition) Conversion Kit Update

Thanks for the info! Is there a way to tell where we are on the list? I was added to the list in January, 2023.

Practical Solutions' M10/.22 (2nd Edition) Conversion Kit Update

Is there a round-about price for these? I'd still love to have a .22 conversion for my M10 and hoping it's a good price and is available in the near future. Guessing there's still no release date or even an estimated one?

    Van Voorhees 22 conversion questions

I have one I bought last year and have been slowly working on. The barrel adapter didn't work in my mac since my trunnion was welded just slight up causing the firing pin to not hit the primer. A guy in my gun club made me a dedicated barrel for it on a new upper which is MUCH better than the...

    M10/45 Troubleshooting

I ended up checking alignment and from what I can see, it didn't look off. I did end up removing the extractor and it was CAKED underneath which I think was causing the issues. I removed all the carbon, oiled, and replaced the extractor. It seems to clip onto empty cases much more easily now...

    M10/45 Troubleshooting

I have an M10/45 that I mainly use the Lage uppers on, but I occasionally like to run the stock uppers on for fun. I tested my side charging upper with a fixed firing pin MPA bolt and it ran great until I put the can on then it started having light primer strikes every 3-5 rounds and then it did...

Tabs for converting sten mags for the max 31s

I'm not aware of anyone making them, but you can use this template to make your own. I just used some mild steel and did a rough cut with a jigsaw and then used an angle grinder to get the correct thickness and profile. No complicated tools are necessary. I did it to two mags and they work...

    M10 5.56 Upper Options

I was told mine will be ready to ship mid next week. I'm super excited. I'm likely going to take it to the indoor range up the street the second I get it in. I only have a cheapo red dot sight to throw on it at the moment, but oh well.

Are you considering doing an M10 version?

Good to know I was close. Thanks for checking!

Max 10/31 RPM and Bolt Curiosity Question

I tried to calculate the RPM and my best guess using an audio app on my phone and some math is about 535 RPM. It was extremely easy to control and I'm likely going to shoot it in this configuration for the most part from now on.

Max 10/31 RPM and Bolt Curiosity Question

Alright, I finally got around to testing today. Attached is a pic of the bolt and a cast lead spacer to keep the weights from moving as much. I'll post video links to the original configuration and the one with weights. Original: Weighted:

Max 10/31 RPM and Bolt Curiosity Question

I just got the tungsten weights in today and they fit with very little movement. It adds a total of 3oz to the bolt weight. I'll post some updates after I try it out. I dont have a way of measuring the RPM, so ill try to record a video if it if I can.

Max 10/31 RPM and Bolt Curiosity Question

Partly a fun side project and partly because I can only afford one MG at this time, so having a wide range of rpm's would allow for just something different. My favorite MG I've shot has been the MP-40, so allowing me to go from that slow all the way up to ~700 rpm with Lage's variable buffer...

Max 10/31 RPM and Bolt Curiosity Question

Thank you all for the helpful replies! I'll slowly start working on something and hopefully get it working at a slower rpm.

Max 10/31 RPM and Bolt Curiosity Question

I'm still new to MG's and open bolts, so this may be a dumb question, but I noticed the Max 10/31 bolt has a pretty large slot at the top. Would the RPM change noticeably if I were to have a drop in tungsten weight machined? It would be pretty cool to have an MP-40 rate of fire, but there may be...
