With original AKT in a CNC warrior retro Galil.

I've been getting the occasional double (3/10 times or so) with mine, if I ride the trigger through the firing cycle. Anyone else have this happen to them?

The original AKT fits just fine. The ALG AGT is made for the ACE, but they won't say anything other than some of the dimensions are different.

I think they're closer to Tapco than Orlites. It's been a while since I've shot an LM5, so I may be wrong.

Lou, They were purchased on my behalf by a relative from Nobelteq. Didn't ask after R4/6 tubes, but the safe assumption is 'no'. I can see what I can dig up, but it's unlikely. Denel did a <500 run of R5 tubes to last them until 2020, when a new rifle will be selected. Probably.

Same for me, he also mentioned he had a custom made Pac-Nor 1-7 barrel installed.

Doesn't have the lightening cut, so I'd kind of put off by that.

I notice the bolt carrier has an ACE scallop in it, any idea why?

That's a late type Israeli stock, and is fine I suppose. If you don't like it you can swap it out fairly easily. The general opinion is that you'd be lucky to own any thing put together by Mr Miller.

A quick comparison to the SA parts and IMI: R5 gas tube is new 2016 production, and has a slightly different bevel on the flared end. Also the small spring at the dovetail portion seems to be omitted.

Oh, I'm more than pleased to have gotten hold of a virgin 1-7 IMI barrel. I got my box on the brown trucks today, so hopefully the early bird gets the Galil.
