My dealer charges $100 for NFA transfer as well, and I've had a few at a time with him in total comfort. He's also a well-known AK smith, and will do small subgun repairs and tweaks for me at no charge...serious value add.

Th for the note, PMN'd you back. I have several of these but still have no clue what the odd straps are for. Some of mine have the shoulder strap but do not use those odd little clips.

I forgot to mention that it also apparently didn't sell at the pre-auction price of $15k he offered in an e-mail before the first auction.

I'll buy less for sure, and it won't be through my trust. My CLEO is fine to sign, but getting prints done here is a PITA and requires several trips to the jail to see if they might be in the mood that day. I MAY buy something individual if I'm really hot for it...but won't multiply the print...

John, a B&G bolt gun sold by Frank on GB went off for $16k a couple weeks ago. No stock, basically a machine pistol. Pics didn't show the bolt so I dunno if it had feet or not... ETA: it didn't meet reserve the first time he ran it through at 16.

Plus we got free shipping instead of paying $30+, plus we got the equivalent of eleventeen kajillion% interest on the funds we had to put up front to be on that wait list, as a special "early adopter" return on investment!

I haven't tried it, but I strongly suspect my Multimount, using the mount that replaces the Uzi barrel nut, would work fine with that Fab tri-rail. I have that rail on my Mod B which I don't shoot as much. To the OP- I agree that the barrelxchange forend is great, if you just want to run a VFG...
