    carbine adjustable buttstock

I second this.....even the MOE stocks that don't have the lock are pretty rattle free. The CTR is especially nice if you want the lock for complete movement free shooting, say with a scope, etc... Can't go wrong with either.

The twins (AR22 carbine and SBR) and my new part that makes life less frustrating.

I posted the carbine a while ago, but wanted to do a new thread about the little part I designed and machined....it may help others. ............AND I wanted to show off the recently completed SBR (just finished doing the barrel from another SS 10/22 barrel I had.) Here is the part I...

SSAR-15 Bump Fire Stock Review - Pics and Video

Tried one this weekend. I didn't get to run too many rounds thru it, but it was fun. Could do 2 and 3 round burts with ease right off the bat, but couldn't do any longer strings then that. This had a standard trigger. I would think a decent 2 stage trigger would help alot. Like everyone else...

    My latest creation

Tacdrivernc, I think I may agree.....I tried to be a bit creative, and may end up back to the lathe for a straight shroud.

Problems with the new Century UC-9?

Thank you, could you do one with the silver end of the tape measure butted up against the front face of the barrel nut? And...give me the measurement? I can see the numbers, etc...pretty good in the pics, but a number would help to be sure. Thanks!

Problems with the new Century UC-9?

Anyone with a Century Uzi want to get a measurement for me? I need the exact distance from the face of the barrel nut (muzzle side) to the tip of the barrel. This would be considered the total length of "exposed" barrel. Thank you!

    stay away from aimpoint clones.

The first thing I looked for in these was the brightness, because I have had other budget reddots and they fade in the bright light. I tested this one for brightness on a very sunny day against lots of ND snow and they have all been fine. They don't all have the retical cant..... I had an older...

    What's so great about 1911s?

I have owned 6 or more 1911s throughout the 25+ years of being into guns. The 1911 is a legend, and can be a great thing, and everyone should own at least one in their lifetime. That being said....my Glock 21: 1. Is less expensive. 2. Hold more rounds with a flush fitting mag, and with an...

    stay away from aimpoint clones.

I have 4 of the M4 clones from Primary Arms...they are all great. I sent one back to him originally (can't remember what the issue was) and he replaced it with no questions asked. I had 3 or 4 of the M3 style ones from him prior to getting the M4 ones and they were great as well. You got a...

    Bullpup shotgun

Had a couple back in the late 80s/early 90s. One was an 8 shot mossberg and the later was a 6 shot Maverick. They are built like a tank, and kick like a F#$king Mule.....that said, they are neat little shotguns and I wouldn't mind getting one again. They were $300ish back then.

    9mm AR-15 Reliable??

You don't need to use an Oly system to use the Lone Wolf Glock lowers. The oly bolt/upper can be used with no mods. You can use any colt style system (RRA, Spikes, CMMG) upper and bolt, you just need to narrow the 6 o'clock area of the bolt to fit between the single feed glock mags. ADCO did...

    I have been busy......22LR SBR

They are $110. So far I am happy with it. It doesn't lock in the folded position, but the hinge has a strong friction fit, so it stays folded until you pull it closed. There is a little plastic flashing here and there, but that is small stuff. The way it attaches to the receiver and the aluminum...

    I have been busy......22LR SBR

The stock is AGP Arms folding stock, got it from Spike's. The comp is a Levang Linear comp. I turned the rear half down to retain the handguard cap in place. You didn't ask, but the rail is an Armalite SPR rail unit that they used to make for a particular rifle/handguard combo they had...since...
