    PSI Rating for mossad 2

At issue is the pressure in the entrance chamber of the suppressor, not the SAAMI chanber pressure. We have not measured entrance chamber pressure in the MOSSAD, but we have in the Multimount. There, the peak entrance chamber pressure of the SUBSONIC .300 Blackout/Whisper is comparable to that...

    SWD Suppressor Rebuild?

We at Gemtech will rebuild the SWD/RPB/MAC suppressors designed for the Ingram subguns. This is not a high-tech rebuild and uses simplistic shallow conical baffles and spacers. It also includes a wipeless end cap. Cost runs $150 plus $20 return shipping. Compared to the original MAC type spiral...

Change of impact with hot silencer

Don't know if this could be an issue, but with a lot of full auto fire, friction does heat the barrel fairly significantly. With heat and a heavy muzzle suppressor, I wonder if barrel harmonics might be affected. However, most UZI cans actually mount on the trunion and simply enclose the barrel...

    Best Suppressed 77/22?

My personal choice is to use a muzzle suppressor and choose ammunition as needed: HV with ballistic crack for longer range and standard velocity for accuracy. The integral 77/22 (and 10/22) suppressors are super quiet primarily because there is barrel porting (at 2-3 inches from the chamber)...

    New Mossad suppressor

Sigh.... No suppressor (that does not use an early ported barrel to restrict velocity) will ever get rid of thwe supersonic ballistic crack when shooting supersonic ammo. Suppressors are intended for subsonic ammo. That said, if shooting supersonic ammo, the suppressor still reduces the muzzle...

    supressor internal pressure

Been here several years, but I am not overly active. Boards are something I do occasionally when I have time, and not on a regular basis.

    supressor internal pressure

Internal suppressor pressures is a complex issue. The prime pressure area is the entrance chamber, and the pressure will vary with the uncorking pressure in the barrel at the moment of bullet exit as well as the volume of the entrance chamber. The uncorking pressure varies with caliber, amount...

swapping out mount on an MK9K???

That is pretty much the answer above. However, unlike the Multimount, the entire rear mount is an integral part of the suppressor. We do maintain 3-lug mounts as well as UZI mounts and thread-mounts in stock. Since the mount is a component of the suppressor, if you want a second mount, we ask...

Anyone with the MK9K and Uzi barrel nut?

Cut the barrel 1 inch in front of the wide flange on the barrel. No more, no less. I can cut/crown it for you for $25 plus return shipping of $15, or I will do it an no charge if you are buying the mount.

    New Mossad II from Gemtech

Yes and no. Replacing the serialized part has ALWAYS required a new serial number. Under the Bardwell letter (clarification written to atty James Bardwell following his inquiry in 1999) ATF had said that the serialized part could be replaced and the number transferred ONLY to correct a...

    MK9k still being made?

As of our weekly inventory yesterday, we still have a decent supply of the MK-9K suppressors in stock and can equip them with pretty much whatever mount you like: thread-on in 1/2-28 or 1/2-36, 3-lug, and the new UZI mount. Contact our sales office at 208-939-7222 during the week for pricing and...

    Thinking about a pistol suppressor

Our Multimount is a different suppressor from the Trinity and has better sound reduction, but retains the same interchangable mount system and used the Trinity mounts. In both size and performance, it is comparable to the Trident.

    Jams with Suppressor

All suppressors increase bore pressure, resulting in slightly faster cycling. In an autoloading action, if the increased bolt velocity causes the bolt to bounce against the buffer, it will come forward faster. When this happens, the magazine spring may not get the next round in place fast enough...

    Gemteck Mossad II?

I would like to throw in a couple of thoughts. Which 9mm suppressor one purchases depends on the desired uses. Our Mossad-II (and the prior Mossad) were specifically designed to be submachine gun suppressors. They provide excellent 2-point mounting for superior alignment, and they have the...

Anyone heard the Smith Enterprises 308 Supressor for the M14?

The SEI suppressors used to be made by Fisher Enterprises. As far as I know, Fischer still makes them for Smith.

    Gemtech MP5 Flash Hider

Just a simple announcement. After being badgered by several folks (including some on this forum), we made a new production run of our original MP5 flash hider using the 3-lug mounting system. We have them in stock, on the shelf, ready for shipment. Cost runs $109 + $11 UPS ground.

    MK9k still being made?

Personally, I think the 3-lug mopunting system is the most versatile. We offer a direct UZI mounting system because we were asked to do so.

    MK9k still being made?

MK-9K The MK-9K is being made, and we just finished a run of 100 (70 on the shelf). We have one new option. At the continual proding of a couple of memebrs of this forum, we have made a direct UZI mount, which attaches the suppressor in place of the barrel rfetaining nut. There is, however one...
