I use the chicom sks chest pouchs, I remove the shoulder straps, sew in one of the shoulder straps in both ends of the harness, and "voila" instant bandoleer. works great! Just don't try carrying 2 of them, unless your name is ARNOLD SCHARZENNEGER

I bought some freedom brand 9mm couple months ago. When loading some mags, I found a .380 in the pile. I figure it was loaded on the 9mm line, and was probably way over pressure. Haven't figured out what to do with it so far. This was a case of reman. 9mm.

What happened to them? They go out of business? Their website doesn't work anymore. Also, does anyone have the website address of that machineshop in Texas that makes the uzi receiver and some parts?

The folding stock can be a bear if you don't do it the correct way. the parts you need can be had at DandD sales, best chance, then I'd try Numrich, Sarco, and BWE firearms. numrich or sarco also has schematics of all the parts on uzi's, so you can look to see if anything is missing.

no one here can really give you a good answer on that. We can only buy from a dealer in this country. There are gun shops in New Zealand, ask the management there where a f/a can be imported from.

Well, I'm assuming your vector has a F/A spec trunnion just like the IMI mini, so it looks like both will fit. Do you have a restrictor ring on your mini? or an open top feed ramp? Post some pics of the interior of your mini.

Thanks for the pics! Would sure like to hear more about the developements coming out of GM&T. I'v been bugging them about a full Mini receiver, but they were reluctant to talk about it other than saying "it costs money to bring those things to market". Uh, DUH!

I'll bet that they MIG welded the trunnion. When I built my first AK, I mig welded the trunnion in the receiver. It broke after only 40-50 rds. I took it to a friend who had a tig machine and he welded it. about 7-10,000 rds later it's still shooting.

Don't know, there are lots of variables. you need to look at it, handle it, ask if you can shoot it with your own ammo, try out the suppressor, look over the mags see what kind of condition they are in. Then do some research online. Check the auction boards, sites where they are advertised, ect...

When you ask about "building one up" how much building do you want to do? Cause you can buy a bare shell from DandD, along with a "weldup" kit, and build a complete shell with welded attachments for less than $175. Then buy a parts kit from RTG for $169, use the lower and top cover, sights...
