    Chamber flags…am I overthinking this?

You are not over thinking the plastic melting, I have seen it happen when using zip ties as a chamber flag. And zip ties are frequently supplied for people who need chamber flags at matches. What we do here is stick it in the ejection chamber and down into the mag well. Then lower the bolt...

Practical Solutions' M10/.22 (2nd Edition) Conversion Kit Update

Mine came yesterday and it fit and installed out of the box with no adjustments needed. The first mag ran flawlessly! On the downside, these mags do not have witness holes or over stop catches. They hold 30 rounds. Don't over insert it past the click or you will damage the feed lips. When...

Tungsten bolts for Mac platform ROF

The easy way to speed up any open bolt is to use a buffer. Customize the thickness to get your desired rate of fire. You already have a spring that is tuned to the bolt. Just reduce the travel a bit to increase ROF. Much easier to add or remove a buffer than change a spring.

Tungsten bolts for Mac platform ROF

Why are you looking to increase the RPM? The point of these heavy bolts is to decrease the RPM.

    Folding Grip

Rhino replacement parts, no longer available. I bought one in the late 1980s from an ad in Shotgun News. They look good folded, but are too low and long when deployed for my taste. They are collectable now. The bottom rail Uzi front grips that Barrel Exchange made are much better for a...

VERSA Suomi stick lever or button?

Yes, you are correct, fits drums, coffin, and sticks. I forgot about the dedicated Suomi stick mag well. Maybe I should get one of those too, with the push button lower. So many choices with the Versa.

VERSA Suomi stick lever or button?

I have both, side button on the Glock mag well, and lever on the Suomi mag well. The side button lets you cut a little time from the reload for competition because you can use your other hand to open the bolt or grab a mag at the same time. But I don't want to drop Suomi drums, so it's easier...

    SubGun24’s 22LR conversion kit (review).

These run the same extractors that Vector and Lage used. Bowers still sells them. I would suggest having a few spares. They eventually splay out. You can bend them back sometimes or they break when you try. A warning about any Uzi .22 kit. The ejector is built into the magazine. The left...

    SubGun24’s 22LR conversion kit (review).

I received my kit and even read the instructions but still had issues at first. It feed great, but had light primer strike failures. It went clunk 9 times out of 10. There were marks on the bolt and barrel ramp showing rubbing. Todd responded right away late Friday night and started...

    SubGun24’s 22LR conversion kit (review).

I just ordered one after seeing your video. Thanks much for posting. It does not seem ammo sensitive like my Vector conversion. This is an expensive year so far. I bought the VERSA upper, this conversion, and I just received the email that my Practical Solutions M10 .22 conversion is ready...

    SubGun24’s 22LR conversion kit (review).

I am also wanting to know what ammo runs well in this. My Vector conversion only runs with Winchester Super-X or CCI mini mag.

    SubGun24’s 22LR conversion kit (review).

Nice pictures. What are the plastic parts in the parts box? And what is the curved metal piece with two holes to the right of the parts.

New Uzi Owner - Let's SBR This Thing!

The current form 1 says the maker is required to mark the firearm with the makers name, city, and state. All markings must comply with 27 CFR 478.92 and 479.102. Here are the links for both. https://regulations.atf.gov/478-92/2016-12100#478-92...

    Want to suppress my Sterling?

My experience verifies that. It did not fit the crinckel finish gun at all. On the smooth finish gun, it could be adjusted side to side but not up and down. Sold it. Works for some by luck.

    Uzi 45 acp threaded barrel

I have a .45 Uzi kit with threaded barrel. Pike Arms sells them in two lengths, but they are set up for a semi restrictor ring.

Christmas came early this year (vintage parts)

Nice haul, but who wants M10 uppers and bolts? I shot mine once when I got my M10 just to experience the original crappy 'phone booth' gun. Then it went into a box after installing the first of many Lage uppers.
