Because a buffer will only bring it up to 950 rpm, and the titanium bolt is $500 and no longer available. A closed bolt will also give me better first round accuracy. Am I seriously the only one interested in this? Seems like a much better solution than a titanium bolt...

Hey guys, I'm wanting to increase the rof of my full size vector just for fun, does anyone know where I can find a closed bolt conversion? I've read the FAQ in the library on converting a semi bolt; is this something I can weld up myself? Or does anyone offer this service? Thanks guys, Jon

Thanks for your input everyone, looks like there are some some pretty options. I guess the scratches aren't really a big deal. At first I was bummed because of how much the gun is worth. I'll probably just leave it alone until I get tired of the gray park and want to spruce it up a bit.

It's definitely a shooter and I don't plan on selling it, but you never know right? I suppose I could always just re-parkerize it to keep it original.

I own an F/A Vector and I wish it was an IMI. I wanted an IMI initially but the only one I found for sale at the time for a decent price was a Vector and it was also in the same state. It has run flawlessly so far but I can't help but wonder about the build quality and I guess time will tell.

Check this guy out, Glock 23 at 230 yards. He has some impressive 9mm handgun videos too.

Artillery would be cool but you couldn't shoot it very much, especially those that need a crew to operate. Vegas that Stoner picture gave me goosebumps. I wouldn't mind a Sig 551 or 552 either.
