Okay gents, this is still working. Ready to wrap up this effort! Who here works on Saiga 12s? I need a rear trunnion installed and tuned to cycle smoothly, then I can send this beast out for final assembly.

Works for me- I want to make integrally suppressed .45 like a Delisle. But access to samples would be nice.

Got an answer from the ATF. In order to manufacture what I have in mind I’ll need an FFL 07, SOT, and a form 2 for each build. I’ll get to work on those.

It’s still a stamp collecting activity. I feel like getting fingerprinted and having my picture taken and waiting is enough of a tax!

In Northwestern MO we have a monthly match during the summer months.

I know you need a Fed license to manufacture firearms. What about suppressors? Can I make and sell them as an individual (with the appropriate registration of the suppressor and NFA transfer)? I’ve been away for a bit and I don’t recall so figured I’d ask the experts!

Not looking to launch explosives out of a fiberglass tube adjacent to my head! Probably just propellant only.

Yes, printed in two pieces, warhead and rocket. No active warhead, but we’re going to test rockets in it. I also found some cans that fit the tube nicely, so I may devise a 3D printed rocket section and tail that snaps onto the can. Low print cost per piece… to make disposable rockets.

Nice thanks for filling me in- seems like a cool idea and it’s good to know about similar mechanisms.. ultimately it would be a lot of work for minimum benefit but it’s cool to know it’s not as nuts as I thought it might be. Very cool- but I’ll keep the focus on what I’m building now!
