They're not 'garbage'. I own two of them, equipped with green laser and an Ergo Grip. They are well made and a 'blast' to shoot. Most people who call them "garbage" have never owned one or shot one.

I was there 4 years ago. The factory and museum are located in Izhevsk. At the time, we were only allowed to visit the museum. Very cool though. I have some photos on my Flickr photo page.
