    Max-11 gas block

Well I ordered a lage internal block, and was about to order a gas/brass kicker until my fiancé laid down the law and said no more gun stuff until our wedding is paid for. So I guess I'm gonna have to wait a little while.

    MAX-11 Super K

So you spent $700+ on a Max-11 upper, then chopped it up and turned it into a factory upper? Or am I missing something?

    Max-11 gas block

Thanks! That makes perfect sense. I'll probably try the internal block first then keep adding them if I think I need more.

    Max-11 gas block

It seemed like most of the gasses were coming from the gap where the lower and meet in the rear. So I'm not sure how the internal block or gas/brass kicker would help much, but I'm sure I could be overlooking something. How exactly do these two things keep gas from coming through that opening...

    Max-11 gas block

I'm just looking for anything that will keep the gas from going straight into my eyes.

    Max-11 gas block

Thanks! Rhay777, I'm sending you a PM. How well do these actually work? Is it worth it to get the internal block too? I'll probably never shoot it without the can. Also, how are they attached? I have a stock upper I use for a dedicated .22. Will this get in the way of that? Edit- Thanks...

    Max-11 gas block

First off, just got a Max-11 (used first generation), and I have no idea how I went this long without one! I can't stop shooting it and it's all I think about when I'm not shooting. The feel of it chugging along is so much better than the TASK slow fire it set up for before. But anyways, I'm...

    Bowers suppressor hosts?

Garret, what is that bolt action that uses pistol mags? I really want one in 9mm.

In dire need of a hook up

I sent him an email on the upper w/ barrel. Anxious to see if he actually has it. The price seemed too good.

I am on INGO. Same username over there. Telero, thanks for the link. I seen his uppers and I've been trying to find reviews if he's a reliable guy to deal with.

In dire need of a hook up

First off, I apologize if I shouldn't have posted this here, but I figured more people would see it here. Some of you may remember, but awhile back I blew up my Mac with what can only assume was a bad reload of some sort. I thought If be able to get my upper straightened out and reuse but it...

    Mac grenade

Should I switch to a different powder for my subsonics? I know titegroup is a very popular 9mm powder, and I read a lot of threads on here about people loading 3.4gr of it for their 147gr subsonics. I had 200rds of it loaded an the one that blew was the 197th. So it seems like its a good load...

    Mac grenade

Thanks for your all your input. Unfortunately it's something that happens so violently that its hard to recall the detail of how exactly it went down. While I find it hard to believe such a light load of only 3.4gr could cause so much destruction, and there be no bullets lodged in the barrel...

    Mac grenade

Would it be possible for it to be a squib if there's no bullets lodged in the barrel? And would a double charge (only 6.8gr of titegroup) really have that much pressure to split the whole barrel like that? I'm gonna try to get better pics but its hard because I can't get anything apart. The...

    Mac grenade

Well I'm loading 3.4gr of titegroup under Berrys 147gr RN for those loads. So I'd say its possible that 6.4gr could probably fit in there. 3.4gr doesn't take up much space.
