The best kits left out there are at IMA. Any postsample build of a sterling from a kit is going to involve welding or brazing. Its just a matter of much and where. The easy route would be to buy a semi sterling gun, mill a post sample bolt, and modify a trigger pack to fit.

I friend of mine has an FA uzi with no grip safe and no selector. Both are welded up and ground down, then parked over. You can't even tell where the grip safety was. I don't think much remains of the selector, but i haven't seen it recently enough to recall.
