Issue with McKay Receiver: Trigger Pin Cock-eyed

That is interesting... I've never had one problem out of my McKay receiver. Put everything on it and it went bang first thing. Almost kinda boringly easy.

Sig MPX/MCX stock adapter for Uzi

I think they look awesome! And not to hijack the thread, but I have a Sig MPX/MCX folding brace if anyone needs one.

    Mini UZI buffer

Mind sharing the dimensions? I'm in need of one myself and was just going to "wing it" with some delrin or something.

    O. M. G. - Mini-gasm alert!

I contacted the company and they will demill them into parts kits and sell them to us, but... Someone needs to research the whole ITAR permit thing to import them. I would, but I'm swamped at work right now.

Looking for some feedback on the Walther 22LR UZI Pistol

I've fed just about all the cheap stuff through mine with no problems (federal, Remington, etc). It's a heavy little sucker, but fun for the price!

    IWI 22lr UZIs any good?

Probably not going to work... I won't say never, but the barrels on these are integrated and non-removeable. They are very different internally than the actual Uzi's.

    IWI 22lr UZIs any good?

I have both the Micro pistol version and the full size carbine version. I'm very impressed with them so far. In fact, I was thinking about buying another just because they're so cheap!

22lr Walther IMI Uzis easily/able to be converted to 9mm

I own both and the 22lr "copies" aren't even close internally. The only similarities are in the outward appearance... that's about it.

Where to find mini parts kit

The only ones I've seen at Numrich are the micro kits. Just search and be patient. I've managed to locate the receiver pieces, a folding stock, a bolt assembly, a top cover, a correctly marked lower and the majority of the other small parts by being patient, watching the boards, and jumping on...

Looking for a MINI UZI SMG Top Cover

I made one by cutting down a full size ratcheting cover, but some people seem "put off" by rewelded covers. If you completely cut out the ejection port area of the full size cover, they are nearly identical. I guess it comes down to if you want a shooter or a collector...

Looking for a MINI UZI SMG Top Cover

I stand corrected then... That's awesome if he has SMG covers now too!

Looking for a MINI UZI SMG Top Cover

Bill's are semi top covers though as they don't have the SMG serrations. The OP said he was looking for a SMG cover...

Post 86 machine guns may be possible - Uzi included.

I sadly agree.... Most sheeple vote for "assault weapon" laws because they are led to believe that they are actually machine guns... So I don't think public opinion will allow for actual ones to be legal again. Even if it should be protected by the 2nd....

Read+Searched: Still have some Q's about resolving minor Vector 45 UZI Issues

I'd try the easiest & cheapest fix first which is the top cover. Looking at your pics, your top cover appears to be sitting to far rearward. Maybe a proper fitting cover will reduce or even eliminate stove pipes...

    Walther Uzi Pistol SBR APPROVED!!!

Not yet.... But, I'm hoping they come out with a mini in 22lr soon. That way, I can have all three in both 22lr and 9mm versions. Yes, I have problems....

    Centurion UC-9 Review (Century Uzi)

Hahaha... I know what you mean. I started building guns years ago and cut my teeth so to speak in the AR market. I have built guns that shoot just as good or even better that most of the high end brands using mil - spec parts. This can't be said for all parts guns out there, but it can be...

Semiauto UZI - Serious tool or a Range Toy?

Personally, I view it the same as any sidearm... It's there as a companion to your long gun. I don't think it can really compete with a good battle rifle, but then again I have a neutered semi and not a SMG....

    Centurion UC-9 Review (Century Uzi)

Nice! Good to know that there are good ones out there. I personally don't have any gripes with Century as I've only ever owned two guns made by them and they were both fine. But... you read LOTS about them if your on any of the gun forums so I see how one could be skeptical.

need some help with a build

Do a good search here on the forums and maybe become a member over at Weaponsguild. All the info is there. Your bolt will not work without heavy mods. McKay offers receivers and semi bolts, but there are other sources as well.
