    Uzis in Fauda

Thanks for the reference, bagel. On the iwi page https://iwi.net/uzi-submachine-gun/uzi-pro/ the grayish part that looks like a giant Tyler t-grip in front of the Tavor-like trigger guard apparently pivots down from its forward attachment point to make the vertical foregrip I saw. I doubt...

    Uzis in Fauda

Any fans of the Netflix series Fauda here? In season three the team seems to be armed with full auto Uzi Pros with vertical foregrips and shoulder stocks. I assume IWI really does make these and that they are used by real-life Israeli covert ops.

Will surplus bolt work in my IMI Coverted Uzi? Wood Stock?

The Full Auto Conversions page in the Library describes the bolts made by Group which work in conversions where the barrel ring is not removed. I remember reading somewhere (evidently not there) that these bolts are marked with a "P"

    Richard at BWE

Richard, I hope you recover quickly and are able to work as much or as little as you want. My favorite (semi) Uzi is a on a receiver done by BWE. My only regret is that at the time I didn't think to ask you to sign it or something so that future generations will know it's a genuine Richard...

Congratulations Dave - Nice article in NRA magizine

Excellent article. Even though I've read the book, and been a member here since 2004, I learned some things. Also according to the small print on page 82, "photos courtesy of author". Nice job with those, too RD.

    Interfor Uzis

Interfor USA Group Inc had a table at the Tulsa Gun Show last month. Among other things, they make SA Uzis. They seem to be high quality. Anybody ever shot one? https://interfor.jimdo.com/store/#!/Uzi-SMG-semiauto-clone-9mm/p/116074682/category=0

    Vector Arms Uzi price check

It may matter whether it is a GI or AA receiver. Vector sold wood stocks like that as an accessory, so he probably got that from them, too. People are asking $850-900 for packages like yours at gun shows around here. They want much more for Action Arms Uzis, of course.

The UZI Book - Order a copy now!!!

As everybody says, this is a wonderful book. I read it cover to cover. Question for RD: on page 38, the Uzi version order is given as A,B,D,G,H, "According to the order of the Hebrew characters" The usual Hebrew alphabetical order is aleph, bet, gimmel, dalet, hey (A,B,G,D,H). Typo? Question...

    Title II Arms...

I was feeling the same about an order placed August 26 (for a thread adaptor to use Uzi barrel nut accessories on an Uzi Pro), then I got a shipping notice e-mail on Tuesday (this is basically the 5 business days time frame the website promises) and the item arrived today. It does just what I...

IWI Uzi Pro with Arm Brace

I just read the section on the Uzi Pro in Dave's book and I've been trying to catch up with the UziProSB posts on the forum and found this thread. Shockwave, which doesn't make an Uzi brace, has this to say about holding their product against the cheek (not shoulder)...

Did Vector ever sell semi Uzis with IMI receivers?

I bought one from Vector right after the end of the AWB. They gave you a choice of "Heat treated GI receiver" or "IMI receiver with bayonet lug". I went for the latter because I wanted IMI, but then at some point I got an attachment that used the bayonet lug to mount a very short rail that I had...

how do you handle the money transfer for a gun to another State

I've learned a lot reading this thread and look forward to learning how it comes out. My own experience is limited to buying an Uzi from Ruben Mendiola with the help of a local dealer who called around for me. Mendiola told me he was throwing in an Uzi case when I called in my credit card...

    suppressor

That's what I have. With other adapters you can use it on anything 9mm/380 you have with a threaded barrel: Glock 26, S$W M&P, Makarov, ... which is fun if not especially practical.

Vector Mini Uzi- what a bad move

Thanks for the WSJ link, wanneroo. $650K sales for 2014 is probably only about 100 units per month, hard to imagine how they could run even a 4500 sq ft factory for that. I suspect also that a lot of people here agree with you in wishing Vector well. I bought a FS SA from them in 2004 with an...

Ammo that works in Tavor with Timney sear?

As internet gossip will (correctly) report, Tavor's with a Timney sear strike primers too lightly to function with milsurp-type ammo (e.g. 5.56 IMI). Does anybody have any experience with any 223 ammo that does function in a Tavor/Timney 50% of the time? Or 75%? Or more? P.S. Nobody in the...

If you do sell it for $11K, please post. It'll make us owners of no-blocking-bar IMI RR's feel like we made a great investment back when they were $7K.
