I let mine go because it was a pain in the ass to keep clean and load the mags properly. Someone needs to make a dedicated upper that uses 10/22 mags or Ceiner type mags. 10/22 quick change barrel compatible for cleaning ease. I will post this in every 22 thread until it happens. :)

I JB welded the last plastic part that broke on mine. That was a couple years ago... Still working!

I replaced mine a long time ago with a heavier spring. With a Mac Jack it would engage from recoil.

Yikes! I noticed a significant reduction in buildup when I switched from FMJ to plated. For the price, plated bullets are the way to go.

I don’t think the 31 uppers function in semi.

Mine did the same thing. Unbent the trip a hair and solved the problem forever.

The open bolr Colt M231 ran at around 1200 RPM so that should be pretty easy to make happen. I personally like high ROF weapons better than super slow ones.

The open bolt design “should” lend itself to longer component life even under mild abuse. Chances are you will nuke the gas tube before you ever pop a barrel but it is possible with a piston retrofit or heavier gas tube IIRC. I’m wanting to get a barrel for mine that is made for heavy use...

I just spray it down with Hornady One Shot. The stuff is amazing.

What was the price? Was it the 10% like now or did I miss out?

I had a 7.5” 5.45 that would eat a gas tube like clockwork at ~2000 rounds of full auto.
