Practical Solutions' M10/.22 (2nd Edition) Conversion Kit Update

I'm an idiot and thought I was on the list for the M11A1 but I wasn't. I think I'm dead last now. Over the years I've been on so many waiting lists they blur together.

What is your favorite MG to shoot?

I've shot many different machineguns but will just give you my perspective on what I own. M11 - I have three lage uppers, a few 380 and 9mm original uppers, and a Subcal 22 upper. It's like the swiss army knife of machineguns or ass they say, jack of all trades master of none. I prefer the...

    Forgotten Weapons does the Uzi

I'm not certain that is correct. To my recollection when guns were converted prior to the 1986, cutoff manufacturers were required to provide a description of how the guns were converted. Certainly an individual could do a FOIA request to see what is listed on the original Form 1. That being...

    Value ?

I sold one a decade ago for $3000. Hold on to it. The machine gun market is soft, pay cash.

What is the worst thing you have done to your Uzi

So this weekend I had a friends get together at my personal range. My range is out a ways on my property so we loaded up in two trucks and drove down. Shortly after we got to the range I went to switch my uzi (Vector FA) from 22 to 9mm and my stupid Coastal suppressor came apart and the bottom...

    22 conversion options for m11a1

After seeing that picture I thought to myself "I didn't know stobro had a fleming upper". Then I was like, hey that table looks familiar. Then I finally realized that the table was mine as well as the M11A1 and upper. PICTURE THIEF!!! jk

We all know we are buying it, what magazine will you choose?

Damn you Richard. You are hard on my checking accopunt. I will be going Glock. I am taking Richard's advice on that. I of course already have a Suomi drum upper and I have no Evo mags. So what are you choosing?

    Fleming M11/22 compatible suppressors

It fills where cases would fall into the receiver. It has a taper out from where the cases would be extracted. I'll try to get better pics this weekend.

    Fleming M11/22 compatible suppressors

It is easiest to see in the second picture. It is anodized black instead of the parked finish of everything else. In the bottom right of ejection port you can see the button head allen bolt that hgolds it in.

    Fleming M11/22 compatible suppressors

In my post from 2008 you can see the filler piece in the bolt. https://www.uzitalk.com/forums/index.php?threads/a-review-of-the-new-subcal-upper.33743/

    Fleming M11/22 compatible suppressors

I'll try to get some pics tonight but its in my shop and it has suddenly turned cold here so no promises.

    Fleming M11/22 compatible suppressors

Does your kit have the aluminum block in the bolt? That block helps keep the empties out of the gun.

    Fleming M11/22 compatible suppressors

Back when I was fooling with mine, I used Tactical Innovations mags. You could adjust their angle and depth and they used the same metal feedblock as the Butler Creek mags.

    M11a1 Fast Rate Upper Recommendations

This guy gets it. Find a Max11A1 in 9mm. Then you can either get someome to open up a 380 boltface or you can remove the weight on the Max 11A1 bolt. Then find or make yourself an Alamo Adapter. They are easily made on a 3D printer or you could make them out of about anything else. They are...

    m11/9 fleming .22 upper rework

I think it was Mike-Sid who sent me a few of the improved extractors a few years back. If I can find them, I'd be glad to send you one. I don't know who made the ones I have. EDIT-I see where you are located, send me your locale, we may be pretty close to each other.

    What is this briefcase...?

Her's a full on bubba special. I know because I made it. This a picture was before all the velvet was done.

    What is this briefcase...?

That's absolutely a bubba special and a poor one at that. I made an operational briefcase for a full size uzi. It looks a hell of a lot betther than that case. I think my final cost was less than $20. I guess it's time to throw it up on Gunbroker.

Yes or No to a 22lr conversion kit?

I respect your opinion as always strobro32, but in my experience I have found that the Uzi converion is possibly one of the best out there. That is if you follow the recommendations for tuning. My personal uzi has been subjected to teenage boys and has hardly missed a beat.
