I kind of wonder if mine might have been a pistol that they converted after the fact. I only reason I think that is because the selector hole appears to have been somewhat drilled a little carelessly after parked and it has no selector markings or selector stops on it. Who knows though I guess...

I have a gen 2 and the “9MMa” bolt as well. What dimensional issues were there with this bolt? I’ve ran it in both my m11-9 and m11a1 and hasn’t missed a beat. Probably around 5,000 rounds on it.

Eh do it, set it up the way you like it. I don’t think most guys here have seen Sam‘s work. damaged guns, Texas macs, mac flats, new back plates... you couldn’t tell the difference...

+1000 Especially now with the CF bolt, makes total sense. Add some hk sights and rock and roll. I’ve been meaning to do this for a while. Maybe someday I’ll get around to it.
