I have been thinking about getting an IMI. I love rifles that shoot pistol cartridges, I shoot my Vector offhand at a hundred yard gong in semi mode a lot. But that bolt slapping around kind of spoils your aim a little. I shoot my M1A1 that way a lot as well. My $35,000 plinker.

Parts seem to be drying up. I only purchased a very moderate amount of spare parts when I got my UZI in 2014. Seems dumb now. Parts seem like they will be around forever, and then boom they're gone.
