I believe both units will be supplied with 40 rd. mags. The Lage with BD mags and the PS with metal mags. The major difference between the two kits is bolt and insert with the Lage kit. A barreled upper and bolt for the PS kit. Both kits are close to the same price.

I should rephrase the post. If both units were readily available, which one?

I am looking for opinions on the .22 kits for the M/11. Both Lage and PS make great products. If you had to choose one: Which one and reason behind the choice.

I load mine with the UpLula loader. Works great.

This would only work if the insert is installed from the muzzle. The 1/2-28 threads will not pass through the 9mm bore. If it is installed from the chamber end: You could (inside) thread the chamber adapter and thread the longer insert into it.

The issue is with the insert being concentric with the barrel threads. The insert must be small enough to slide into the barrel. This could add up to alignment issues. One solution to this: Make the insert long enough to exit the end of the original barrel. Then thread the end of the...

This is troubling news. I hope things will work out. I was always under the impression that the kit would work with F/A rated .22 cans.

Chili, Did Richard bring both kits? The Max-11 and the regular. I am still trying to decide between the two. Is the rate of fire the same on both units?

Doug, What made the decision for you? I am on the fence also. The RO mags are not that hard for me to load with the UpLula. They seem to be reliable. I can see that you gain easier loading. Are the Soumi magazines more reliable?
