I contacted them they said they sold out a few weeks ago. Would there still be enough meat on the barrel for a shoulder or does it not need one? That would be perfect if someone had one Id happily trade them a 1-7 imi barrel for it:)

Yes wasn't thinking. I've done it on ak fsb but wasn't even think about the gas aspect as its a fsb/gb combo

Not 100% sure I'm in the same page but couldn't you just knurl the valmet barrel a bit where the gas block goes?

Using a caliper it comes to .910 so about 23.114 mm so it would have to be a press pin build? Any thoughts what to do with it now. I'd prefer keeping it 308 as some have said it could maybe be used on a 7.62x39 build but I'm open to ideas

Exactly what I needed to hear!:) so this could be used to build a 308 micro using a standard 308 Galil receiver? I wasn't sure because there isn't a shoulder where the barrel would stop against the receiver like on a standard barrel.

I found a 1-7 barrel for my build however I'm told the threads on the breach end where it screws into the receiver has a dent on them causing the threads to be flattened in a spot about 1/8 wide by 3/8 long the are not completely flat from what I'm told and they believe it should still screw in...
