    Recoil spring assembly with buffer at rear. Not anything to speed up gun. Just an OEM part spare. I bought the topcovers with the idea that I would make a bunch of the rail assembly set-ups for installing a red dot. I bought a Stormwerkz rail and made one for myself but got busy with other stuff.

    Thanks and yes, was thinking about "can I just put a DES lower on my pre-sample factory IMI SMG?" Sounds like i need to remove the safety or just use it for spare lower parts.

    M11/9 with Lage Max11 MK2 (wow!)

    A drum is cool and all. I'm fortunate to have shot lots of drums with a Swed K. This Max11 is a handy size / weight combo. Drums are heavy and a bit awkward (for me anyways) unless shooting off a bench or rest. Based on this Max11 upper, I bet that the Lage drum upper is smooth as well.

    With the value of these guns going up, and the variety of add-ons increasing, does anyone have plans to work on a better trigger? The Swed K has a heavy bolt, blowback action, etc and it has a great trigger. Is there any way to possibly simplify the Mac family to do the same? I'm not worried...

    Is the Indonesian version an improvement over the original? I can see some changes / differences between the two in your pics (thanks for posting). The trigger group / selector is different. Other changes? Interchangeable parts?

    There are lots of examples where American ingenuity will rise to meet a challenge. There's a certain breed "out there" that gets interested when they hear "can't be done". Of course there's a larger group that starts the effort with "hold my beer" = mixed results.... I think that a solution...
