    Vector Arms Customer Support Woes

WOW, I was just trying to find something in UziTalk but didn't. Didn't think to try a google search. Apparently I am a drop in the ocean on this issue. Guess I will never deal with or recommend Vector again.

    Vector Arms Customer Support Woes

Back on Aug 4th, 2017 my Vector Mini Uzi front sight pop out and the cocking handle broke loose trying to clear it. I was very surprised to see this happen during a a shooting session. Especially, since this was the only uzi in my collection that I purchased from a manufacture rather than...

    Mini 14 folding stock construction

I actually have an original but can't see how it disassembles from the ends. I am considering a small batch run of clone folders but more like original quality. Trying to get mine apart to send to some fabricators and try to make identical copy (since the patent is over 20 years old)

Who can show me how the original (now discontinued) Ruger side folder stock construction. I am trying to duplicate but don't understand how the stock itself comes apart. custom serial number

The federal law does not require you to put a serial number on a firearm you make, unless you are building a NFA firearm on a Form 1. Serial numbers are recommended to avoid issues with police officers who don't know better. As per ATF regarding private citizens manufacturing a title 1...

    Northern Virginia UZI shooting group

Medphys, I am definitely interested in allowing all subgun shooters of subgun calibers. This is my attempt to promote subgun SA / FA shooting fun. I am currently working on a course of fire for the sub guns and hope to have something sketched out this week. If anyone could reach out to other...

    Northern Virginia UZI shooting group

So this is a type course of fire I am thinking of:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k5s2drDRNVE On the last target, I would like to have a max range target at 100 such a gong plate. Rounds would have to be limited to even the playing field for SA and FA competing against each other, but not to...

    Great news for Uzi afficinados!

Nodak Spud said they considered it, but the availibilty of parts is an issue. The only parts I see being different is the front grip, bolt/striker, top cover and barrel. Right?

    Northern Virginia UZI shooting group

Thompson4433, How would opening it up to other SMG typs such as Tommy, Mac, etc? I am thinking it should be limited to pistol calibers carbine/smg classes: .380, 9mm, 45. If we can find some spots to hold such events, we should work up a point system for participants to score, and work up to...

    Northern Virginia UZI shooting group

I am taking a poll of how many UZI owners out there (Semi or Auto) would be interested in having UZI shooting events in Northern Va. My goal is to identify a place to hold such events and establish a shooting course to let us have some fun with our UZIs and get the most out of shooting...

How did this conversion work out for you? Considering it myself.

Why are UZI 45 Conversion more expensive as a kit?

The promag I have must have been the new batch because they worked perfectly and did not have to modify the mag catch slot. Bought two 22rd mags. Highly recommended. Little hard to get the last few rounds in, but they are new. Little tight fiting in the grip, but managable. CDNN has them...

Why are UZI 45 Conversion more expensive as a kit?

Got the 45 bolt, barrel and 22rd promag. Works great, but the 22rd mags are a few inches longer than 9mm 32rd mags. Looks a little like the 9mm 50rd mags (goofy). Don't understand why they couldn't make the mag the same length at 27rd glock mags. Eh, can't have the best of both worlds I guess.

Why are UZI 45 Conversion more expensive as a kit?

Promag are making 10rd and 22rd 45acp mags for standard uzi lowers. I will be pulling the trigger on buying the 45 bolt and barrel since I can't find any 9mm bolts for my build.

Why are UZI 45 Conversion more expensive as a kit?

Semi Yes, The semi-auto versions. Seems like you can save some $$$$ buying separately. Why?

Why are UZI 45 Conversion more expensive as a kit?

If you buy an UZI 45 conversion kit it cost about $400+, but if you buy bolt, barrel and mag it about $295. Why is this? What am I missing?
