I remember the Alabama Ammo 147gr.. It was great stuff, nickel plated and I never had a malfunction. I think its a great idea to load the nickel for your son!

Don't know about the 147 but the PMC 115RN that I just purchased was VERY underpowered. Wouldn't run in my UZI or M16 9mm and the UZI eats anything. I sold it to a buddy to shoot out of his pistols. From now on I'm going to buy a box of whatever I am considering buying and shoot it before I buy...

I wouldn't go the aftermarket stock route on a transferable full auto. Do it right. There is a stock and hinge on GB right now. Pricy though at 800.00. I have sent at least a half dozen Micros to Andrewski and the work on all of them was top shelf.
