With braces and FRT/SSs it’s hard to predict where this will go but it’s definitely changing the landscape.
I saw video yesterday of a braced FRT Desert Eagle 44Mag. Wow.
What’s a spring primer?
I’d tried both the Dillon and an aftermarket powder check die. Both causes more issues than they were worth
Has anyone ever had the Dillon powder drop system fail and significantly over or under throw powder? It’s very robust and I’ve never had that happen on a 550 or 650
The installation took some time but it’s been zero problems and very reliable. I’ve only had two malfs that were mag related. My good metal mags are at a different location. I look forward to trying a metal drum
Shrike and AK SS porn from yesterday. The M16 and other MGs stayed in the case or the safe.
Semi AR lowers with SSs have made it so I no longer need to swap M16 uppers, change buffers/springs, etc. So very cool
The AK stock still sucks to shoot
I should buy some replacement springs to test this. The mags have been so disappointing I’m not sure I want to throw more money at them
I had nowhere close to 2k rounds on each mag
Springs could be the issue but that’s still confusing. Why would the springs fail so quickly? My mags failed in a similar incremental but fairly quick fashion also
Unfortunately it’s only 2 position. It’s pretty challenging to get a 3 position crammed in there. People say they’re working on it but I’m not holding my breath
The transferable AKs were always like that for me. They were never worth the money to me for what they are. It sure was fun shooting one with a $200 SS though. It mentally feels like shooting a post sample since it’s only worth the sum/cost of the parts. Ride it hard!
The AK SS removes the...
Another super safe (and MG) day at the range. The AK SS worked incredibly well. It’s a serious win. The folding stock on the AK of course sucks for shooting. I need to put a fixed stock back on
I wish you guys would stop posting about this 😀
I have a Suomi drum upper so I really don’t need another upper
But this is way cool. I’m trying to resist
The SS won’t fit in my Tromix Saiga. The Saiga rails interfere with the cam location. I’m tempted to cut a piece of the rail out and see what happens. People are working on the SS for other cheaper 12Gs so I’ll probably just wait on those
I already have the NFA guns and don’t need the...
To say that they’re different buyers is not correct. There’s overlap. How much SS/FRT will impact the market or potential legislation won’t be known for a while.
In my local NFA club and even in this thread there are MG owners (like me) that are having a great time with the SS. It’s 100% a...
