In everyone’s opinion, would it hurt anything to run an 8 inch barrel without an adjustable gas block?

I totally agree that the 10.5 inch barrel is the perfect size! Since it is so easy to change, I thought it would be fun to set up an 8 inch barrel with the flash enhancer and my collapsible stock, just like Richard did.

Yep! This was my first adjustable gas block, and it’s great. Hope I can find one that can handle pistol length...

I really like the Odin Works adjustable block. After tuning it, the upper shot so soft! Is an adjustable gas block a necessity with the IRM? Would running a 7.5/8" barrel without one be hard on the upper/bolt and cause excessive wear? Thanks

I have the IRM version of the Max-11/15, and was curious what the shortest length 556 barrel I might be able to install would be. I know Richard ran an 8" with the flash enhancer. For the beta testers who ran different barrels, what is the shortest barrel length you used, and how did it run...

Any chance one of you guys could film a short video next time you’re doing a barrel swap on your Max-11/15? I was thinking about changing out my barrel (and gas block) to a 9" 300blk. I built an sbr AR15 some years ago, but a short tutorial would still be a great help! Thanks in advance!

I run the Lage collapsible stock and Zmags exclusively. You have a few options. You can insert and remove the mag with the stock completely collapsed and shoot. It is a little snug, but fires fine. It will not drop free (obviously). When I want to extend the stock, I pull the mag out just...

Try pulling the trigger. Does the bolt go forward (fire)?

That’s exactly how I felt wednesday! I about went nuts doing the gas block tuning, and couldn’t wait to let her rip. It was amazing! We shot it next to a rr m16, and it seemed way more controllable to everyone.

Mine does. Also runs in the Grey Ghost upper. The "rails" on top remove with 2 screws, and then it becomes the size of an Oem bolt.
