I used to rest the side charging handle in the space between my index finger and my thumb while gripping the body of my MPA10. It won't break, but its to small to safely use like a forward pistol grip if that is what your asking.

Is there any negative effect from removing the restrictor ring as shown? I know it says this is the most desirable method, but from the pics it looks like it would cause the barrel to be less secure. What about legal problems doing this to a semi auto SBR or pistol? Is this ring required to...

you could SBR it. extra $200 for the tax, and some paperwork. But might be worth looking into.

not the pistol frame, Vector sells a full size UZI with no stock and a SMG length barrel as a pistol. It would be legal to do, I was just curious as to why Vector would say the stocks are only to be sold for SMGs.

On vector's site, they list QD stocks as "Quick release for full-auto only!" Is there a legal pretext to this? I was thinking of buying a full size UZI pistol, and using the quick detach and 16" barrel to switch from pistol to rifle like the Thompson Contender. Thoughts?
