Maybe I’m the oddball here. But I have conversions to shoot the Uzi in .40, 10mm, .357 Sig, and .45ACP. But I find I shoot the gun 95% in 9mm, 4.5% in .22LR, and the other 1/2% in the other calibers. And yes, a tweaked grease gun mag will hold 35 of the .40/10mm and they run pretty well

Old kit. I bought the Uzi in 2006, so the .22 kit would have been ‘06 or ‘07 timeframe.

The biggest thing for me was finding ammo that my .22 kit likes. Buy a bunch of stuff and see what works. In my Vector kit, I find the cheap Rem Thunderbolt does great.

Interesting. I have checked the ejector and it appears to be tight. I had swapped out the Group bolt that came with the gun several years ago. Where replacing the bolt seems to have fixed the issue, there may be something similar to your issue with the ejector channel on the problem bolt not...
