You need to buy lowers for each upper so that they have a place to live.
I have my orphaned uppers on a shelf in the safe when they aren't on the correct lower.
To clarify, the zytel fit in the magwel is super tight. I almost have to pound it in.
Maybe I got a bad one? All of the metal mags I have fit in properly.
This is the 1 thing that ended the Saddle Creek Machine Gun Shoot that was held annually at the Albany Rifle and Pistol Club in Oregon, despite never having a claim made during any event.
The old "Buy once, cry once" state of mind. I agree. You won't regret buying a nice optic, but you will end up regretting buying a cheap one (usually).
I have a couple of 22 kits for my Macs, which run pretty good, so I haven't felt the need to get one for my Uzi.
Shooting 22LR full auto always makes me grin. While I don't know how much work it would be to get a 22 kit to run in your Uzi, I think it's probably work the effort.
There you go, flaunting your wealth with that display of 9mm ammo. What picture will you post next? A stack of plywood?
All joking aside, enjoy your new upper. Post a photo when you have the time, please.
