You guys ever bench rest your FA UZI? What kind of groups do you get?

Yeah I was pretty surprised to learn that very few people on this forum have ever even bothered to check their weapons performance with regards to accuracy. Usually just draws ridicule and phonebooth jokes. Everyone seems pretty content with reliable F/A and stops function checking there...

    Shockwave Z-mags in STEn?

    Single feed pistol mags? Ugh.

You guys ever bench rest your FA UZI? What kind of groups do you get?

115 gr should have about 36" drop at 200 yds, that'll be beyond the adjustment range of most optics and well below irons so your aiming point will be somewhere well above the target. Walking it in would be tough also as the weapon would obscure your impacts. Subs are even worse with about 51" of...

You guys ever bench rest your FA UZI? What kind of groups do you get?

Check out this thread. MAC and not Uzi but still relevant to accuracy in OB SMGs.

    New M11 video

At least he made it four whole minutes before trotting out that clichéd phone booth quote. (God I'm sick of hearing that crap.) About 1 minute later he places all 50 rounds in the A-zone with a single continuous magdump, so I don't know what to believe anymore.

    New M11 video

The one time I accidentally fired my M11/9 without the buffer installed the ROF was noticeably faster. I dunno. Go figure.

Gauging Interest in Tungsten Slow Fire Bolts

FYI, tungsten is paramagnetic and should therefore be weakly attracted to a permanent magnet. Tungsten carbide, however, is considered magnetic because it typically contains cobalt or nickel as a binder. These are both ferromagnetic (like iron) and impart their magnetic properties to the material.

What is this "MAC 11/12 Mount"

Yeah the large pin looks like it would fit an MG3-AA tripod. I don't really see how it fits a Mac. Does it fit yours in any way?

Thinking about a M11 or M10 SA build

Dimpled locations for F/A conversion (or even silencer endcaps) is considered "readily convertible" and is verboten. Sucks, but yeah.

    Ultimate kit build.

Really impressive work, dude. Looks great, definitely a dream project. I am particularly amazed with your cast parts and the etching looks perfect too. Congrats.

    Info on SWD Mac10

Those are PAM-II magazines converted to fit an M11/9 magwell. They were once a popular option before the advent of Shockwave mags, and are generally considered superior to Zytels. They always worked well for me but are kind of a pain to load.

Should I give up on my Lage .22 upper?

Intrepid Tactical Solutions and their RAS-12 shotgun with proprietary shells. https://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2014/01/19/gun-review-intrepid-tactical-solutions-ras-12-shotgun/amp/ Probably doomed to failure from inception despite being a pretty good improvement over traditional shells.

Should I give up on my Lage .22 upper?

They're a pretty awful design in general for anything that isn't a break-action. For one thing I don't believe there is even a SAAMI standard for plastic shotshells, the dimensions are all over the place. Plastic hulls deform pretty easily so it's poor tolerances are understandable. The case...

Should I give up on my Lage .22 upper?

.22LR was designed 136 years ago and is absolutely terrible by modern standards. Was never even intended for use in autoloaders, (let alone machineguns) it should be thoroughly obsolete. Only reason we still use it at all is the institutional inertia from all the .22LR guns out there. Same...

    Post yer Maccuracy!

See if you can measure an actual group in inches in semi-auto. Results from burst fire are actually a measure of dispersion and don't tell us much about the accuracy potential of the weapon.

    MAC 10 original suppressor question

Wow, we don't understand the law AT ALL.

    Calico M11/9 upper

The Calico properties have been continuously changing hands every few years for the past decade or so. I would assume that every time someone interacts with them, it's a different person.

Thanks for giving it a try, I think the data is interesting. I'll try to add more to it.
