Hi, I just joined 5 minutes ago, I have a Mini SMG, love it! I have had several UZI Smg's & kept the Mini. I seen a Micro SMG for sale & thinking of picking it up, it does not have a stock, where can I get a stocK reasonable? And, what type of controlabilty can I expect from the Micro? I am just a "burst shooter", with my mini, maybe 2 or 3 or 4 rds. Thanks for having me! Al

I'm not a micro expert yet...but I believe your refering to the Uzi Pistol. SA nonstock type is a pistol and FA with stock is the micro. If that matters to ya.

I'm in the process of the SA pistol purchase myself.

The one you saw without the stock...is FA? I have not fired one but I hear they Fast, Fast, Fast :heavy

They can unload a 20 round mag in less than 1 sec.!

I envy you with all your SMG's you had or have! Its great to see more new Uzi folks show up and post!!!

:)

Karl da Uzi man!!!:heavy

Yup, caught me in bed. I'm known to do that about 7.5 hours a day. And if you're fast, when I work out, I'm kinda slow at responding too. And then there's work and grocery shopping. :nana :biggrin2 As for parts, try looking through all of the parts dealers I have listed in the links forum in the thread for UZI related parts. I don't recall seeing micro stocks, but there may be a dealer that has one. Best bets are Vector, CDNN, Numrich, TAPCO, and D&D. For control, they're a handfull. A short burst is 4 rounds. Get the ported barrel for a little help if it doesn't already have one. And :welcome Karl.

The Micro-Uzi was originally imported as a pistol, & a Class 2 Mfg converted it to select fire, they did not install the stock as is typical with these. I was wondering about the controllability of these, if they have too much muzzlerise.I have also heard they break parts. But, if IMI manufactures these in this configuration, they must have some merits. Thanks again.

I only own one UZI. A Model A bolt gun. I have fired a mini and a micro. I own an M11/9mm and would say the Micro is near identical in controllability. The Micro is a lot better made. Keeping my MAC running is a challenge. The UZI is a tank. If I were to buy another, it would be the mini first, then the micro. I prefer the slower heavier gun though, I like to compete. Karl.

I've seen Mico stocks for sale on Sturmgewehr.com in the past so they're around. I haven't noticed any of the parts dealers with them in their regular listings but you might try Botach Tactical because they have a lot of IMI parts. You won't find it on their web site but give them a call.

I don't know how the stock attaches. I'm assuming that it will need to be welded on.

I've got a mini and LOVE it. I've never shot a micro but they tempt me every time I see one.
