I had one of those when Centerfire was blowing them out for $149

It was......unreliable....at best. I tried it in a few different stamped AK's.

I ended up trading it off, but in retrospect I really should have taken more time to try and tweak/tune it. I think the original AK FCG was the problem, maybe a reduced power hammer spring and some polishing up would have helped.

Looks like the Grizzly Defense kit that centerfire used to sell. I think reviews were fairly inconsistent.

I have one of those. Works decent after I made a ultra light hammer spring.

Does the new spring affect reliability with 7.62×39?
Dunno. I don't like that rifle enough to bother taking the 22 kit out of it. I shoot 7.62x39 in my Russian rifles. The Yugo has the 22 kit.

I'm sure it will affect setting off primers. Especially hard primers. The hammer spring is much, much lighter.
