22lr Back Pressure question.

No personal experience, but from what I've read, a concern has always been that such a device might be accused of being an unregistered suppressor with the potential for confiscation and possible prosecution. Which has led to the rhetorical question, "Do you want to spend $10K+ in attorney fees, plus another $10K+ in technical expert witness testimony to prove that what you have is not a suppressor when an overly zealous prosecuting attorney decides that what you have is, indeed, an unregistered suppressor?"
MHO, YMMV, etc.

I agree and disagree with this. Not looking for a debate. Just asking a question. I know the laws. I been a FFL/SOT for over ten years. For reference I’m referring to something like this link below in which many companies manufacture legally without nfa registration. If you want to discuss laws, legal fees and other related things just pm me. I’d like to keep that off this topic and maybe just responses to the questions asked. Thank you. YMMV. IMHO.

I got then cheap back in the day at the Creek and then got 24mm to 1/2-28 adapters.

Fleming had a 22 booster for his 22 uppers.
I have one that came with my upper but never used it due to using the spectre can.
I'd probably check GB or a web search to see if one can be found.

Nothing different with Sam's booster vs a krink booster or a blast baffle that goes on your suppressor hub mount.

Sam's booster is just a chamber to help increase dwell time.

Yep, same here. I use these on my short-barreled M16 .22 kits running CCI std velocity. I also use them for gas boost on "short nose" M16 barrels.

This one is drilled for a muzzle brake so it most likely will not be as effective for what you are looking for. You could just weld up the holes if its your only option.

Yes that looks identical to the ones I have except none of mine have any markings. I recall them not being around $40 or so when I got them at the Creek. They are really heavy duty though

I don't think I've ever seen an AK booster without holes for being a brake.

Funny that they says it's for AK47 rifles. The M24 thread is AK74 and it would be quite exciting to pop a 7.62 projectile through that thing.
