Yep, get them while you can. If you think that ammo is expensive today you can expect the same and worse for magazines, especially specialty magazines like Z mags. I remember crappy aftermarket Ruger 10/22 mags going for $100. If Biden gets two senators from Georgia on his side then anything is possible in terms of bans. Even a split senate can go against us if some of the more left leaning Republicans go along.

I just bought 5 of them. I don't actually own a MAC that will use them (both mine are M10s, one .45 magwell, the other has an Uzi conversion). However, I'm planning to get either a M11/9 or a M11A1 sometime soon and there is no harm in stocking up on mags now. Worst that happens, I sell them later.

I would also buy several Zmags converted to work in the Max-31 uppers if available. There’s enough people that want it. Eventually someone’s gonna have to make a bunch of them.

Yeah, I've been buying a few here and there.
I figure having a surplus of them will always be a good thing.

How many is the proper amount to own? I have 14. How many mags do you guys usually own per gun? I’m assuming it depends which gun too

For competition you need at least 6 and I would say 8 for comfort. That is if you don't mind reloading at the range. I sometimes think it'd be nice to have to have 2 sets so I don't have to reload, but I'm not there yet. I don't really like carrying 16 mags to the range though so I think I'm good with my 8. I've been buying the crap out of every other mag I can think of that i might ever want though.

Don’t let it bug u too much, I’m assuming they are still in production and it was only a 3$ savings per mag. When u see them back in stock just buy them then. But next time take the bird in the hand even tho they may not be on sale. Never know what future holds with production or restrictions.

Right, Biden will be in the WH in a month. After that date anything could happen. Shockwave is still making them but they only make them as they can so don't expect 1000 of them to be available all of a sudden. Remember, their other business is pistol braces and 'firearm' stocks (those shorty long guns that are 26"). The braces are under direct fire as of this week and no doubt the 'firearm' thing will be soon too. I hate to say it but Shockwave could be out of business in six months if Biden and congress get active on firearms. If you want Z mag go to their web site daily and order as soon as they get them. Maybe call them and place an order against future production. Bad as things are, 'these are the good old days' (Vegas).

FYI guys, Lage Manufacturing still shows both the 30 and 50 round ZMags in stock. I just ordered a 6 pack of 30’s.
