Check out what our library says about them here at the bottom of the page.
Supposedly they have good reliability.

Yeah, I've noticed the springs to be a bit softer but I've never heard anyone post any bad information about them.
My guess is that they would work great in any semi auto Uzi, and most likely work just fine in full auto as well.
You can always tighten up the spring a bit.

Did you get it for a good price?
They can be a bit hard to find at times and normally sell for anywhere from $50 - $100 depending on condition and how many people want it during an active auction.

That's a very reasonable price from what I've seen them selling for. Nice score!!

About the spring..... just stretching it a bit is pretty much what I was thinking, but I'm sure someone will chime in and tell me something about the spring metal properties and that that would weaken the bi-polar materials and reverse the circumference of the stratosphere which in turn would illuminate tendencies of precaution for proper feeding.
Know what I mean?
Just stretch the friggin spring a bit. :)

I bought a couple of these years ago, and both have feeding issues due to the springs. I would like to find some replacement springs for them, but obviously it hasn't been high on my priority list. Seeing this post reminded me about it. Can anyone recommend what to use for replacements? Any Wolff springs that would work?

Thanks,
James

Got a reply back from Wolff.

"Sorry James but the short answer is that we offer no springs at this time for your application."

Oh well, still looking.

Do you have any 32rd Uzi mags? If so try one of those springs. I'll bet it would work.

A spring out of a 22 round Promag .45 magazine might work.

Take two 25 rnd Uzi mag springs and just stack them. Leave the base plates which are attached to the springs in place....this gives the bottom spring something to push against. Hope that makes sense. Might cut down on the capacity but it is worth a try and easy.
