Where the seabag is.
i was looking into getting a keltec sub-2000 but i dont know if the barrel is thick enough to be threaded, if not is there a way around it? i see that the front sight post is going to be a problem but im sure it can be moved back. Also does anyone know of a good ar type rifle chambered in 40S&W.

THANKS

I am not sure if anyone else makes one but Olympic Arms makes one. Your big problem is going to be finding an inexpensive way to feed it. I am not sure what mags they are using currently for the .40 conversions. They do make a Glock lower that takes standard Glock mags but it is/has been kinda of a challenge to get one. I have an integral suppressed 9mm version of the Glock set up and it is a champ.

Ruger made a PC-40 (I think was the model) but it no longer in production. I am sure it used Ruger P series mags which means there are a couple other brands of mags that can easily be modified to fit. Threading is still going to be an issue on this since the sight is mounted like that of a 10/22.

I am not sure if you can get the HK USC direct in .40 but I know you can have it converted to .40 and it uses HK UMP mags. To do this would run at LEAST $1500 and most likely in the $2500 range. Plus I think the mags are about $60 each.

There was/is a company doing .40 conversions for the Uzi. Not sure what mags they are using.

I have a .40 pistol and like it. I can understand why you are looking for a carbine to match but it is a hard one. You have tons of good choices if you were to go 9mm or several good choices if you wanted to go to .45.

Ask BarrelXChange about .40 S&W Uzi conversions. A barrel is all you need; the 9mm bolt will fire .40 S&W fine. Finding magazines to use is a little harder, but BXC has them. I decided to use a .45 ACP conversion, with a Grease gun lower, and that works well. The UZI is very adaptable.

MGI 40 s&w

Have you seen the .40 configuration of the Hydra / MARCK-15 in .40? It uses standard Glock mags, and the same mag well also takes the 9mm Glock mags. Just thought you might want to check it out.

The .45 LE mag wells which take Glock mags is just comming off of the production line. It should be up on the web site / store shortly. The 9mm/ .40 combo mag well is the next one being programmed now for a production run. It has already been passed through the proto type stage. The M3 has also been released.

Be happy to get you out a price list. Sorry about the email. We've been so swamped lately, if you ever email and don't get a reply in a day or so, please resend as many of them tend to get sent to the spam folder when we get swamped.

ps. That .45 super mag is certainly fun to shoot in a gas operated system. ;)

Will do. Moving as fast as we can and still making sure everything functions as well as we want it to before we release it for production. We're currently doing another large run of modular lowers so we can continue to keep them in stock and available for your customers.

Thanks! are you still going to do a AK74 well

+100!! I've been bugging them about that one also. Got a few buddies waiting for it also!!
I'm currently using my AR-47 lower to run the AR-74 setup. Just grinded on the mag catch since it uses the AK style flapper mag release. I really want MGI to come out with the AK74 magwell as I'm hoping they will use the same mag catch design they are using on the AK-47 magwell which works great and I won't have to swap lowers.

The good news is that the AK74 mag well has been cleared for production. However, I have no idea though when we will be able to fit it into the production cycle. Demand on the lowers has been unbelievable!!!
