they have @ least 2 usefull places to exist.

Someone with a butt load of 41 ammo
or
someone with an oly arms 40 s&w conversion for an aR.
and then they still need converted to work

I never understood the 41AE conversion. Its such an obscure round. I've never seen it for sale. Does it explode on contact? Shoot a laser beam out the end of the round? What's the appeal?

I have a .41 AE conversion for my micro. Is ammo even available for it anymore? Anywhere?

I remember when AE came out. It was going to be the new Super Caliber. One of my C3 buddies even had his local PD almost sold on switching over to Jericho pistols and Mini Uzis in 41AE! Then, as .40 S&W took off, it just kind of fell off the radar. The only source I recall was Action Arms. I don't think it was that much difference in price from their other stuff, but that's not saying a lot. Uzi brand ammo was always high, and tended to be a bit niche/boutique. Later they came out with the Sampson line at more competitive prices.
Whoever wanted ten mags def wanted to corner the market! LOL I still have a .41AE conversion kit, a couple three mags and maybe three boxes of ammo left. Relegated to collectibles at this point.

Well, I had one that I was able to use in a 45ACP UZI. It worked about as well as the 45 mags, but the witness holes showing how many rounds were in the mag were (obviously) off.
