What all is involved to go from a 9mm to a 45? Bolt, barrel, grip/mag holder, magazine? How much does this usually cost?

Way freakin' too close to the city....especially n
As best I know, unless you want to convert to grease gun mags, the items you need are the bolt, barrel and mag.

For GG mags, you need the GG grip/mag holder also. The UZI 45 ACP mags are expensive but I'll use the IMI/AA conversion kit. I bought one NIB and paid a pretty steep price and have watched for the few good deals on the UZI 45 ACP mags.

I just ordered a SMG 45ACP bolt and barrel from Vector. I think it was around $200. I am on the list for one of Chris Humphrys GG magwells and if I recall it is a little under $300. Original USGI GG mags can be bought in the wrapper for around $30.

Are you sure vector has SMG 45 bolts and barrels?
They were out of stock for years and had a wait list.
