So, I've got a converted from full to semI uzi lower that has the 8mm hole. My new semi receiver to lower piece has a 9mm hole. Would you drill out the 8mm to 9 on the lower and buy a 9mm pin, or make a sleeve for the 9mm hole in order that the 8mm pin work?

I bought the sleeve from BWE Firearms which is an UziTalk Industry Member in the Vendors Forum below.

MHO, YMMV, etc.

I have 1 of the sleeves from BWE and it's worked great when I want to run SMG style 8mm lowers on the 9mm pin hole group ind receivers.

PM me your address and if I can find the 9mm to 8mm sleeve I had I'll just send it to you.

I didn't drill it out, but I acquired a drilled out lower, and it fits like a glove on my semi receiver. I wouldn't attempt it without a drill press though.

the advice i got was to take a 223 case and put it in the receiver hole and hit it with a hammer then take a Dremel and cut off the two sides flush . then use a 8mm pin . it works great and is cheap .

That sounds like my style, lol. I'll do it proving I don't find a sleeve....
