Let me begin by saying...Long time lurker...First time poster.

I know almost everything firearm related is scarce...let's "hope" that "changes" soon,[wink] but does anyone know where I can find a 9mm and or .22 conversion kit(s) for my Action Arms/IMI semi-automatic UZI? I have a .45 cal, and since magazines are damn near impossible to find (and 9mm rounds are a lot less expensive) in the long run it will pay got itself.

Also, I've looking for 16rnd .45 cal IMI magazines and can't seen to find any...Even at gunshows. I had heard that you can use modified grease gun magazines, but what is entailed in converting them to work in the UZI? (I heard it was pretty easy, but being but the last thing I want to do is screw up my SBR to save some money...although the extra capacity would be nice.)

Any help would be most appreciated.

Unless you're looking for a factory IMI conversion kit for collecting, all you really need is a bolt and a barrel. Call up Vector they should be able to take care of you.

As far as using grease gun mags, you can find lowers modified using a mac10 pistol grip for sale such as this one: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=127190792

No need to permenantly modify your firearm, just swap out the lower frame assembly.

I'm not affiliated with the seller.

1st time poster here. not to hijack this thread, so if I have a 9mm submachine gun lower reciever frame fully auto, and the barrell, and I swap them out of the 9mm submachine gun semi-auto from vector, should I be good? And I need the bolt as well right? thanks

Sorry but I have no clue what you're asking.
