Ahhhh....I just saw who was selling it to. That is the guy who lists UZI stuff on ebay and the gun boards all the time, and always talks about how "rare" they are, and how they are "banned" (even when that is not always the case). Usually adds the "Due to new importation law, these rifle parts are harder to find nowdays thus great for investment." to his auctions....I try to avoid personal attacks on the boards, but that really just annoys me...

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one that is annoyed by Jeff11. Everything he sells is "rare". I see he also stole one of the photos out of the UZI Talk library.

Yeah...you are not alone. I honestly do not think that UZI is factory chrome either, but he is selling it as "rare". I figured stealing that picture might irk you a bit...

He also has a Vector UZI drum mag that he's trying to sell for more than what Vector sells them for. If you ask him, he tries to tell you it's a C&S drum.

According to the Blue Book of Gun Values they only made approx. 100 chrome uzi's and they were model A's as is shown on that poster. The gun for sale looks like a model B.

Actually, that one in the fancy box is the picture he stole from UZI Talk. That is the real thing that belonged to UZI Gal. If anyone buys it and expects that bottom picture, or even a nice case like that, I think they will be very disappointed. This is where he stole the pic from:

It is a neat looking gun,...but it is a Model B and not factory. I would not buy it from him. I think he is also well aware of the fact that it is not factory as he quoted prices for the refinishing, yet he still makes some vague reference to Mossberg about how he really does not know. I tried reading that write-up in the auction too, and well....I do not claim a great mastery of English grammar and language, but it really makes no sense!

I do find it a bit amusing that he says "Go to 'www.uzitalk.com'" in the auction itself. If someone actually takes his advice, maybe they will read this thread .

the guy IS most likely a fraud .. and a bum .. but to be completely honest with everyone here .. i LIKE the hard chromed look .. its unique .. and funny.. and it makes light of the fact that a semi uzi is just that .. a semi auto carbine .. not a killing machine .. just a tool .. if i ever come across a SUPER deal on a preban semi uzi again .. ill buy it and hard chrome it .. i want that chromed gun ..

There's a gun dealer in MA that has a gold uzi pistol like that. At least it was there a year ago, I doubt he sold it.
