AK bandoliers

I was wondering if anyone has tried using USGI 4 pocket bandoliers that hold three 10 round 223 stripper clips as bandoliers for AK or SKS rifles.
I am not crazy about the Chinese chest rigs for carrying 7.62x39 stripper clips and am looking for a reasonable alternative. The 4 pocket bandoliers are readily available. Thanks!

I use the chicom sks chest pouchs, I remove the shoulder straps, sew in one of the shoulder straps in both ends of the harness, and "voila" instant bandoleer. works great! Just don't try carrying 2 of them, unless your name is ARNOLD SCHARZENNEGER
