Has anyone seen AK74 rubberized butt plates for AK wooden or plastic stocks? Not the simple stamped metal butt plates that slip on the ground? I asked Tantal several months ago, but he didn´t know either. I´m desperately searching such a thing, can´t find it anywhere. :dunno

No, this buttstock is not appropriate for the AK74. I bought one of these ones already, and it definitely didn´t fit. It might work with AK47 though, I don´t know. Anyway, thanks for your reply.

If you have the new AK book AK-47 The Grim Reaper look on pg 101

If you have the new AK book AK-47 The Grim Reaper look on page 101, I think that is the buttplate you are looking for. Those were used on very early production AK-74s...very rare and hard to find,

Just spray some Rhino Hide truck bed liner on the buttplate. No more slippage!

There is a Guy over at AKforum.net selling NIW ribbed AK-74 buttplates with the spring loaded door for like $15 shipped in case you don't want to muck up the original buttplate doing this.
