I know the Hertenberger + P was made for Sterlings, but that was for - 20 *F. What ammo do you find works the Sterling at a steady cycle rate and is reliable ? ;)

to date I have used about 10 different brands and types of ammo in my Sterling, all without any failures or knoticable change in rate of fire. The Sterling was used to dispose of about 450 rounds of 145 gr SilverBear which would not work in my Uzi or a friends SMG's.

So far, I've only run Wally World white box through mine and it works great!

Ammo

Ok guys, as you start to shoot your new Sterlings you will notice that certain types of ammo run better, smoother, and no run ons. Which ammo do you find to be the smoothest without running on?
Winchester 115 is the worst that I have found, it is very snappy. S&B 115gr, Armscor 124gr seems to be the smoothest. Remington UMC runs on. Any other imput?
